Revit Cloud Model Deprecation

With the release of Autodesk Revit 2027, Autodesk are implementing a new access policy. Under this new policy, Revit Cloud Models functionality will no longer be available in Revit versions older than the current and five previous versions (from the release of 2027, this will drop 2021 and prior).

Deprecated Revit versions will no longer support cloud collaboration or access to Revit Cloud models, however, users still have full capabilities whilst running locally.

What steps should I take?
To continue using cloud collaboration, users must upgrade their Revit Cloud models to a supported version (2022 – 2027) within Forma.

What happens if I don’t choose to upgrade my cloud models?
This policy does not prevent access to your project data, however prevents cloud collaboration features. Therefore you can still download, open, and work offline on models that are unsupported.

What happens during future releases?
With each new Revit release, Revit Cloud Model access will be deprecates from the oldest Revit version that previously included access – for example, when Revit 2028 releases, 2022 will no longer be accessible.
