Design and Manufacturing Training

Design and Manufacturing Training

We offer a range of courses covering Autodesk design and manufacturing software so you can learn how to use advanced design techniques and automate processes to save time and money. Go to our training calendar to see course dates or for more information you can contact us on 01844 263700.

Inventor

These courses teach you how to approach parametric design using Autodesk Inventor through hands-on learning experience. You will acquire the knowledge needed to design models from conceptual sketching, through to solid modelling, assembly design and drawing production.

Electrical

Our Electrical course is AutoCAD optimised for electrical control design. It specifically looks at the development and modification of electrical control systems as well as the symbol libraries used to increase productivity and reduce errors when designing electrical systems.

AutoCAD

With our range of AutoCAD courses we can teach you
best-in-class 2D and 3D design skills. This includes drawing, taking measurements, producing templates and everything required to create your designs. AutoCAD is the industry standard software for design, drafting and manufacturing.

Navisworks

Our Navisworks courses cover both the essentials of Navisworks and how to use it within a BIM workflow. You will learn how to use Navisworks for Clash Detection and how it can support collaboration and coordination. The advanced course will also cover protocols like IFC and BCF.

Simulation

We offer courses on the following software: Moldflow Advisor, Moldflow Insights, Inventor Professional and Inventor Nastran.  Depending which course you take, you will learn how to run analysis, interpret results of analysis types, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and much more.

Vault

You will learn to consolidate and organise all product information securely for easy reference, sharing and re-use. These courses focus on capabilities for managing design files and related documentation. You will be taught how to locate, view, modify, create and reuse files.

Inventor CAM

Our Inventor CAM training courses will provide you with an understanding of the Integrated CAM functionality within Autodesk Inventor software. Through hands-on exercises, you will acquire the key skills and knowledge required to produce CNC Programs using the Inventor CAM software.

Fusion

Through hands-on exercises, you will acquire the key skills and knowledge required to design models using the Fusion software. Advanced courses will also provide you with an understanding of
the Integrated CAM functionality and the more advanced multi-axis capabilities.

3ds Max

This course provides an introduction to Autodesk 3ds Max to help you get the most from the software. You’ll be taught how to use the interface and navigate through the scenes, explore the creation of 3D objects and how to bring in objects from other software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

Plant Design

You will learn how to use Autodesk Plant 3D to complete a plant design project as well as the common workflows used in plant design. In the advanced course you will also learn how to use the AutoCAD Piping and Instrumentation design features and how to solve validation issues.
