How to Export Autodesk Revit Schedules to Excel

In this blog I will show you how to export your Revit schedules to an Excel csv with a few simple steps.

• In the dropdown menu at the top of your ribbon, click File > Export > Reports > Schedule. Scroll down the dialog box to see reports.

• Choose a location and name to save the text file and save.

• On the next window, go with the default options making note of the field delimiter setting.

• Open Excel.
• Start a new spreadsheet.
• Go to the Data tab and select From Text/CSV.

• Select the TXT file you exported from Revit and select Import.

• Make sure the delimited is the same as the export. Select the Load dropdown and select Load.
