In this blog I will show you how to export your Revit schedules to an Excel csv with a few simple steps.
- In the dropdown menu at the top of your ribbon, click File > Export > Reports > Schedule. Scroll down the dialog box to see reports.

- Choose a location and name to save the text file and save.

- On the next window, go with the default options making note of the field delimiter setting.

- Open Excel.
- Start a new spreadsheet.
- Go to the Data tab and select From Text/CSV.

- Select the TXT file you exported from Revit and select Import.

- Make sure the delimited is the same as the export. Select the Load dropdown and select Load.

And there you have it:

To make the Excel spreadsheet more widely accessible, it can be uploaded to your Autodesk Construction Cloud.
