- Open a new standard mm ipt.
- Select Sketch and select the XY plane.
- Draw a rectangle 100mm x 100mm, as below:
- Select the Extrude command.
- Select the Sketch tab in the Extrude properties dialog box.
- In this mode, you are now able to edit your sketch without having to cancel the Extrude function.
- Double click on of the dimensions, change the value from 100mm to 150mm, and select the green tick.
- You will see your sketch will update with the new value.
- Select the Extrude tab in the Extrude properties dialog box.
- Change the Distance A or accept the default value, then select OK.
This is a quick trick to help you speed up your time and eliminate some clicks!
