Custom Autodesk Vault Toolbar

To customise toolbars in Autodesk Vault, you can either modify existing toolbars or create new ones. Let’s create a new one!

• Right-click on the ribbon and Select Customize.

• Or by going to ribbon on the View pulldown menu select Customize. Or go to Tools pulldown and select Customize.
• Select New.

• Name your toolbar and select OK.

• You will see your toolbar listed in the Customization dialog box, and—if selected—your empty toolbar will also appear on your screen below the existing toolbars.

• Go back to the Customization dialog box. At the top of the dialog box select Commands, find the command and drag and drop the command into your new toolbar. Close the dialog box once you have added the commands you need in your toolbar.

• You can further reposition where you want your toolbar to sit by navigating to the 3 dots next to your toolbar. When you see the move icon, left-click hold then drag and drop into the required position.

• You will see your toolbar under the View pulldown; you can toggle it on and off from here.

• Or in the Customization dialog box, you can toggle on and off (check or uncheck the box) and delete it all together by selecting Delete in the Customization dialog box.
