When saving drawings within AutoCAD, you’ll normally use the standard windows dialog. However, in some cases after system/AutoCAD updates, the save dialog will appear differently. This can be confusing to use, so let’s change this back to what we’re used to.


Type in the command FILEDIA, setting the variable to 1.

Upon saving, you’ll now be met with the standard windows dialog.
