Plant & Process

Autodesk® AutoCAD : AutoCAD is one of the industry’s leading 2D design tools with additional functionality provided for mechanical and 3D design. We offer courses that comprehensively cover the AutoCAD workspace and toolset covering areas such as basic editing tools, organising objects, using symbols and adding, using and generating geometry.

Autodesk® Plant 3D: Using P&ID, Plant 3D and Navisworks, you will learn to design and coordinate process diagrams, 3D equipment, structure, pipe specifications and routing. You will also get an understanding of how to automatically create Orthogonal and Isometric views to document the design. Courses are aimed at Process Engineers, Designers or Draftsmen who are required to design, document and maintain fully coordinated process equipment and piping systems.

Autodesk® Factory:  You will learn best practices in terms of developing a factory layout consisting of architectural elements and manufacturing assets. The course includes learning on the core products and workflows within the Factory Design Suite as well as the specialist factory design utilities, starting with sketching basics to Navisworks simulation and  clash detection. The course also covers the creation of virtual layouts and publishing of factory assets.
