This 3 day Navisworks training course is designed to teach delegates the best approaches to combine 3D geometry from cross disciplines into one scene to enable effective model reviews & mark up, use timeliner, animator, scripter, presenter & clash detection within Navisworks.
After completing this Navisworks training course, you will be able to:
- Navigation and walk through simulations for client, in house reviews, and project coordination meetings.
- Set up and manage Navisworks NWD, NWF and NWC files for effective coordination with all project stakeholders.
- Create links to external databases such as excel, Microsoft project and primavera among others.
- Creating construction simulations for phasing, site planning, and validation of construction schedules.
- Generate interactive animations for client presenta¬tions, marketing demonstrations, and services.
- Produce photorealistic stills and animations for quick presentations and effective project/client communications.
- Effectively use the Clash Detective to perform clash tests across multiple file types for project coordination and design review.
- Create Clash Reports for in house review and construction reports.
- Describe the main features and functionality of NavisWorks
- Open and append 3D files of different formats and save in the NavisWorks format.
- Create links to object properties files and scheduling files in external databases.
- Perform visual project model reviews using the built-in review and reporting tools.
- Create construction simulations of a project model to check the validity of construction schedules.
- Use Animator and Scripter to create interactive animations for presentations and demonstrations.
Who should attend this course?
This courseware is designed for new and experienced Navisworks users who need to become familiar with the main tools within Navisworks. Delegates should have working knowledge of 3D design and task-scheduling software.
Qualification: On completion of this course you will be presented with a Man and Machine authorised CAD training certificate.
